Valerie is a piano and keyboard player currently residing in Los Angeles, California. She started her musical training at age 5, taking private classical lessons for the next fourteen years. In high school, she accompanied numerous school choirs and individual recitals, winning awards for accompaniment at regional choral competitions. Valerie spent a year double majoring in music education and music theater at Westminster Choir College before transferring to Boston's Northeastern University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Music Industry. Following her studies, Valerie moved to Los Angeles and landed a job doing dueling pianos, taking song requests and entertaining the masses. She has worked as a keyboard player in several cover bands that have been showcased in venues and numerous theme parks throughout Southern California. Currently, she is bouncing between piano bars and serving as the music director for the all-female cover band, the Suffragettes, who can be seen performing at Disney’s California Adventure and Knott’s Berry Farm.
